Our History

The idea of putting up a branch in General Trias, Cavite was conceived by Dr. Sonia Salazar Caing, an alumna of the National Teachers College, Manila, and an educator by heart.

The construction of the school started in a seventy-square meter lot on November 28, 1999 and began its operation as a pre-grade school with barely twenty-five pupils.

After it's maiden operation, there was an enormous increase in population. The growing population prompted to offer the complete grade and secondary schools to a ladderized curriculum which the school applies to the present.

FIAT LUX, a Latin term which means, "Let there Be Light", is an Academe with Goverment Recognitions in Pre-School, Grade School and Junior High School and permitted by the DepEd to offer the Senior High School Program having the Academic and Technical Vocational Strands.

From this humble beginning as a haven of academic and non-academic excellence, the FIAT LUX ACADEME continues to convey advanced and quality education which will certainly serve as the youth's flambeau in crossing the thresholds of life's basics.
